Logician (INTP) - PISCES

Who is a Logician (INTP)?

Logicians are individuals with the Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking and Perceiving personality traits. They tend to be intelligent, logical and tolerant people, known for their creativity and insightful observations. Being thinking-oriented, logicians usually rely on logic rather than emotion when making decisions.

Logician/Pisces are sensitive, and get along well in small groups of people. Sometimes, they may feel like they have an internal and external self, and they may need to spend a lot of time solo to recalibrate those two halves of themselves. They rarely feel lonely when they are by themselves since they live a big part of their lives inside their own heads. They love patterns, and spotting discrepancies between statements could almost be described as a hobby, making it a bad idea to lie to them. This makes it ironic that their word should always be taken with a grain of salt – it’s not that they are dishonest, but people with the Logician/Pisces personality type tend to share thoughts that are not fully developed, using others as a sounding board for ideas and theories in a debate against themselves rather than as actual conversation partners. People who share the Logician personality type aren’t interested in practical, day-to-day activities and maintenance, but when they find an environment where their creative genius and potential can be expressed, there is no limit to the time and energy Logician/Pisces will expend in developing an insightful and unbiased solution.

They will present a cool exterior but are privately passionate about reason, analysis, and innovation. They seek to create complex systems of understanding to unify the principles they've observed in their environments. Their minds are complicated and active, and they will go to great mental lengths trying to devise ingenious solutions to interesting problems. They do not like to upset others and this can mean that making decisions is difficult for them to do. Often, they can be indecisive if they believe that they can hurt someone’s feelings, and may need a push from another in order to get things done. Their sensitivity means that they can get hurt easily. They need to take steps in order to protect themselves from those around them who seek to take advantage or who don't understand how deeply feeling they really are.

It can initially be difficult to get to know a Logician/Pisces because they are quite introspective and closed off. They need a lot of patience; one has to give them time and space to work through their own feelings. They may find it difficult to deal with the more practical aspects of a relationship, trivial details not being their strong suit. Some partners may believe that they are being distant, when they are simply enjoying being with themselves and their own inner world. You may also find it complex to understand Logician/Pisces as their style of communication is not always straight forward. When it comes to conflict, there is a certain willful ignorance for these people, and they often set aside their partners’ feelings, and their own, for far too long. Physically, intellectually and with a little effort emotionally, Logician/Pisces relationships are rich and rewarding connections.

Logician/Pisces are very loyal and dedicated people. They are the types of people that will stay with the same job or company for decades, and can be the most trusted employees. Quiet workers, they do not share a lot of information which can make them seem self-absorbed, but they simply don't see a real need to share unless it is absolutely necessary. They are typically precise in their speech, and communicate complex ideas with carefully chosen words. They are typically non-traditional, and more likely to reason out their own individual way of doing things than to follow the crowd. The Logician/Pisces is suspicious of assumptions and conventions, and eager to break apart ideas that others take for granted.
