Architect (INTJ) - LIBRA

Who is an Architect (INTJ)?

Architects are individuals with the Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking and Judging personality traits. They tend to be intelligent and competent people with high expectations on both themselves and people around them. Being independent thinkers, architects are often viewed as effective problem solvers.

These individuals are fascinated by balance and symmetry, they are in a constant chase for justice and equality. This is someone ready to do nearly anything to avoid conflict, keeping the peace whenever possible. These personalities can be both the boldest of dreamers and the bitterest of pessimists. They believe that, through willpower and intelligence, they can achieve even the most challenging of goals. But they may be cynical about human nature more generally, assuming that most people are lazy, unimaginative, or simply doomed to mediocrity. There is something awfully insecure about this personality type, as if they were unsure which plate to burden next. This is usually well hidden by a sense of arrogance that they carry as a shield.

Architect/Libra aren’t known for being warm and fuzzy. They tend to prioritize rationality and success over politeness and pleasantries – in other words, they’d rather be right than popular. This may explain why so many fictional villains are modeled on this personality type. Because they value truth and depth, many common social practices – from small talk to white lies – may seem pointless or downright stupid to them. As a result, they may inadvertently come across as rude or even offensive when they’re only trying to be honest. At times, these people may wonder if dealing with other people is even worth the frustration.

Finding a compatible partner will be one of the main priorities in this person's life. Once they start a romantic relationship, maintaining peace and harmony become the most important thing and their primary goal. Their charming personality and their dedication to their relationship makes their compatibility with others satisfying. These people feel a strong pull towards tradition and marriage, and they have a strong desire for their love to be put on paper, well-organized and serving a purpose to create an image for the outer world. They do need a partner who is ready to set clear boundaries, since their need to try and satisfy everyone at once might create trouble in their emotional world. Though they have no problem relating to just about anyone, the only true satisfaction lies in complete surrender of body and soul and to share their entire life with someone. The challenge is to stay independent and aware of their core personality at the same time.

Architect/Libras might be knowledgeable, but they’re not infallible. Their self-assurance can blind them to useful input from other people – especially anyone they deem to be intellectually inferior. These personalities can also become needlessly harsh or single-minded in trying to prove others wrong. These personalities tend to have a great deal of self-control, particularly when it comes to thoughts and feelings. They are the kings and queens of compromise, making them great leaders, friends and partners. Choosing their words carefully, aiming to find common ground with as many people as possible. They can be very indecisive, weighing each option’s positive and negative effects immaculately and therefor might have a hard time committing to one thing or another. They are also a bit self-absorbed and might have a hard time seeing the bigger picture and instead focus on themselves exclusively. You might find them taking selfies everywhere they go and can also be critical about how other people look or be reluctant to hang out with people who they find less attractive.
