Who is a Mediator (INFP)?
Meditators are individuals with the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling and Perceiving personality traits. They tend to be creative, empathetic and individualistic people with a desire to create their own unique path in life. Highly thoughtful and considerate, meditators are known to be good listeners with an ability to make people in their surroundings feel at ease.
These people love to roam and wander. They don't like to be stuck in a routine that is boring and repetitive. Their curiosity about all things drives them to have an adventurous lifestyle that allows them to move around and indulge in their love for questioning the world, dreaming about its mysteries and experiencing all the best pleasures it has to offer. Most can be rather impatient with people who are happy staying in their routines or accepting things without questioning other possibilities. They find peace and harmony in pursuing spiritual experiences, seeking to understand the “why”s behind everything. They seem to have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge - and this becomes rooted in their character. They tend to be highly intelligent and need lots of mental stimulation to keep themselves motivated and happy.
They are usually talented writers. They may be awkward and uncomfortable with expressing themselves verbally, but have a wonderful ability to define and express what they're feeling on paper. They also appear frequently in social service professions, such as counselling or teaching. They are at their best in situations where they're working towards the public good, and in which they don't need to use hard logic. Mediator/Sagittarius who function in their well-developed sides can accomplish great and wonderful things, which they will rarely give themselves credit for. Some of the great, humanistic catalysts in the world have been Mediator/Sagittarius.
They embrace the notion that all emotions are fleeting, including love. They don’t need to hold on to it. They don’t need to possess it to validate its existence. They are attracted to novelty and love the idea that they can move on quickly. If they don’t fall in love at first sight, it usually doesn’t take too long. Mediator/Sagittarius will often fall in love with the idea of a person. They are attracted to vibrancy. Being people of dreams and passion, they’re happiest when they are in free pursuit of their dreams. Partners who know their dreams and give permission to them to chase it will have a very happy and fulfilled relationship. These dreams could be fighting for a cause, chasing a potentially underpaid profession like becoming an artist, writer or musician. Partners who force them to see the practical side of life (like making them choose a job based on salary alone) might win out for a season, but will be surprised to see a disillusioned and unhappy partner. These people feel most loved when their partners show patience to understand their often complex inner world. They often feel alone, especially if they see the gulf between their ideal and reality. Beyond all the words of affirmation and acts of love you can give them, they want to be understood. Partners should resist trying to ‘solve’ this issue, mainly because Mediator/Sagittarius don’t see it as an issue, but rather a part of who they are.
They will be creative, whether it is in work situations, their friendships, and the path that they take in life. They love new experiences and are never afraid to try new things or visit new places. They will push those around them to do new things and to make themselves grow. Their intelligence, especially their emotional intelligence, makes them great friends and listeners. They tend to be very interesting people because of their knowledge of many things, and the many stories from their travels.
