Who is a Mediator (INFP)?
Meditators are individuals with the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling and Perceiving personality traits. They tend to be creative, empathetic and individualistic people with a desire to create their own unique path in life. Highly thoughtful and considerate, meditators are known to be good listeners with an ability to make people in their surroundings feel at ease.
Mediator/Leos rarely enjoy succeeding at others’ expense. In general, people with this personality combo want to share the good things in their lives. They value equality, and they want to ensure that every voice and perspective is heard. They tend to give other people the benefit of the doubt. They aim to be tolerant of other people’s beliefs, lifestyles, and decisions. Generally speaking, they support others’ right to live as they see fit – as long as no one is being hurt. They can often see things from unconventional perspectives. With their ability to make surprising and unexpected connections, it’s no wonder that many Mediator/Leos are drawn to creative pursuits and the arts. They are bold, warm, loving and ruled by the heart. They have an unrelenting appetite for growth that is easily satiated by the praise of others.
Doing the right thing isn’t always easy, but Mediator/Leos’ far-reaching vision can help them stay the course. When they’re doing something meaningful, these personalities have a sense of purpose and courage that keeps them true to their values. Integrity means everything to these people, and that includes intellectual as well as moral integrity. Some people might accuse them of being overly imaginative or of being willing to stretch logic to the breaking point in order to find the deeper meaning they insist must exist, but there is no denying that the deeply reflective nature of Mediator/Leo allows them to transcend the boundaries of imagination that so often prevent us from discovering new solutions to old problems.
To show your love for a Mediator/Leo, set aside time specifically to spend with them. Join them in their favorite activities and learn about whatever it is that they’re passionate about. They will appreciate you taking an interest in the causes and activities that matter to them. Once you know them a little better, let them know explicitly how you feel about them – remind them regularly that you love and care about them deeply, and shower them with small acts of physical affection. Love is the most important thing in a Mediator/Leo person's life. They always need to feel appreciated and loved, and if they do, they return that love generously. They love all the theatrical aspects of love and courtship, the showy dates, grandiose gestures, the romantic dinners all being ways they show their love. They make for passionate partners and bring the fires of excitement to all their love affairs. If they are ignored or left to feel unappreciated, they will feel very hurt.
They are often quite easily hurt and do not deal with their insecurities well. When they feel snubbed they can start to childishly demand attention. Deep down inside, though their pride will never let them admit it, many Mediator/Leos search for the approval of others. It helps them feel important and loved. When it comes to the mundane details of life maintenance, they are typically completely unaware of such things. They might go for long periods without noticing a stain on the carpet, but carefully and meticulously brush a speck of dust off of their project booklet.
