ISFP / Virgo
Who is an Adventurer (ISFP)?
Adventurers are individuals with the Introverted, Sensing, Feeling and Perceiving personality traits. They tend to be spontaneous, friendly and sensitive people with a great sense of integrity. Creative and with a strong aesthetic appreciation, adventurers are also known for their artistic qualities.
These people can seem very calm, but there is much going on under the surface. Always deep in thought, they are calculating and assessing events and people around them. Their eagerness to understand means that they do have a tendency to jump to conclusions. And as long as they feel secure and their needs in terms of love and affection are met, they can be perfectly happy to be alone. They sometimes enjoy their alone time more than socializing with others, as this can help relieve their more turbulent, anxious internal lives. Being so detail-oriented, they can often be very self-critical. Their potential for perfectionism thankfully usually can be relieved with hectic activity - they find peace in their pursuit of improvement.
They live in a colorful, sensual world, inspired by connections with people and ideas. These personalities take joy in reinterpreting these connections, reinventing and experimenting with both themselves and new perspectives. No other type explores and experiments in this way more. This creates a sense of spontaneity, making them seem unpredictable, even to their close friends and loved ones. Despite all this, they are definitely Introverts, surprising their friends further when they step out of the spotlight to be by themselves to recharge. Just because they are alone though, doesn’t mean they sit idle – they take this time for introspection, assessing their principles. Rather than dwelling on the past or the future, Adventurer/Virgo think about who they are. They return from their cloister, transformed.
Adventurer/Virgo live to find ways to push their passions. Riskier behaviors like gambling and extreme sports are more common with this personality type than with others. Fortunately their attunement to the moment and their environment allows them to do better than most. They also enjoy connecting with others, and have a certain irresistible charm. They are guided by altruism. They can envision a better world (whether that’s a country with fewer carbon emissions or a bedroom with more natural light) and use their earthy diligence to make it a reality. All of Adventurer/Virgo’s suggestions —while they might feel intrusive—are offered because they truly want the best for others. So don’t be surprised if they boil you up a pot of chamomile tea for your bloated tummy or offer to watch your kids (and dust your light fixtures) while you embark on a weekend getaway. These people don’t give to receive; seeing loved ones thrive is their greatest reward.
