ISFP / Capricorn
Who is an Adventurer (ISFP)?
Adventurers are individuals with the Introverted, Sensing, Feeling and Perceiving personality traits. They tend to be spontaneous, friendly and sensitive people with a great sense of integrity. Creative and with a strong aesthetic appreciation, adventurers are also known for their artistic qualities.
These are not only among the most ambitious combos, but they also value integrity and tend to conduct themselves with professionalism and consistency. Adventurer/Capricorns are competitive and love to win, but they also want it to be earned and respected. Likewise, they appreciate excellence wherever they find it and can be among the most supportive of friends. The competitive nature of an Adventurer/ Capricorn can translate into some cutthroat tactics. That ambition operates from a place of protectiveness—if they make themselves perfect, then they’ll be beyond reproach. But cooperation and collaboration are a huge ingredient to success, and they can lose out on meaningful relationships by seeing enemies among potential allies.
They are doers who learn through direct experience and imitation. If the instruction they receive seems too abstract or theoretical, they view it with suspicion, believing this style of teaching to be boring or irrelevant. But this preference can adversely affect their performance as students. Effective learning requires focus and commitment, and these people at times are not as dedicated as they should be. This can limit their ability to absorb new and useful knowledge. Craving fun and excitement, they know that life is short and that we must seize the moment before it passes us by. They live extremely active lives, boldly pursuing many hobbies and undertaking many exciting projects. They’re also spontaneous enough to leap at chances for new experiences whenever they might appear.
They are more likely to open up when they are in a safe environment, in a one-to-one dialogue. When you want to have a good, in-depth discussion with them, do it in a quiet place over a cup of coffee. Even when corrective feedback is necessary, ensure that it is framed positively. These people are motivated by the desire to grow, but they sometimes can take negative feedback too personally. They are very serious minded about their future and security. This makes their choice of mate a serious consideration for them. They are less likely to quickly give in and break up when the going gets tough, as once they've invested time and effort in a relationship they feel morally compelled to stick with it. If the connection is a true one, your Adventurer/Capricorn will loyally help you to make a life together. Generally speaking, they can be very loyal to their loved ones. They at times have inferiority complexes which can make them prone to feeling "less than", leaving them open to attentions from other parties if they feel neglected at home.
They are warm and sympathetic. They genuinely care about people, and are strongly service-oriented in their desire to please. They have an unusually deep well of caring for those who are close to them, and are likely to show their love through actions, rather than words. They usually have no desire to lead or control others, just as they have no desire to be led or controlled by others. They need space and time alone to evaluate the circumstances of their life against their value system, and are likely to respect other people's needs for the same.
