Architect (INTJ) - TAURUS

Who is an Architect (INTJ)?

Architects are individuals with the Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking and Judging personality traits. They tend to be intelligent and competent people with high expectations on both themselves and people around them. Being independent thinkers, architects are often viewed as effective problem solvers.

The Architect/Taurus is a very stable person, grounded in earth they’re reliable, practical and responsible and love perfecting the details of life, applying creativity and rationality to everything they do. People might see them as stubborn, but what it really is, is a strong sense of commitment that will not stop until a project is completed. This makes them great employees or partners. These individuals have the ability to bring a practical voice of reason in any chaotic and unhealthy situation.

Architect/Taurus derive much of their self-esteem from their knowledge and mental acuity and their tender nature will make them excellent cooks or gardeners. They are well organized and will always pay their bills on time. They have their finances under control whether their salary is big or small. However they love money and will always strive for material pleasures, building themselves a comfortable life and a sense of value. They take care of their pension and will always save up for a rainy day. The ever-skeptical Architect/Taurus prefer to make their own discoveries. In their quest to find better ways of doing things, they aren’t afraid to break the rules or risk disapproval. They are willing to see another point of view, but won’t flip-flop on a decision just to make someone else happy. They will shift their thinking only if they truly have a change of heart. When these personalities pursue their interests, their natural confidence can draw people to them – professionally, socially, and even romantically.

These people often choose a partner from the same social environment that are able to respond to their intellectual needs, but also the expectations of their family and close friends. They prefer to surround themselves with people who share their values and priorities. Often, they can achieve this just by being themselves. One always have to be prepared to have patience for this person as a lover though. When they finally choose a partner, they can get a bit needy and attached and this will be one of the few times that the Architect/Taurus need to work on keeping their emotions in check. They are all for physical pleasure and are very sensual creatures at heart, but might take some time to show it, since they tend to prioritize rationality over pleasantries. And forget about telling this person white lies, they’d rather hear that an outfit is unflattering than being lied to. They will hold a grudge against people who lie to them, even if it was a lie to make them happy. As parents they typically believe that knowledge is far better than ignorance.

For them, candor is a way of showing respect, and shielding their children from reality would be a disservice. They have little respect for anyone who gets ahead based on networking or nepotism rather than merit. People with this personality type value resourcefulness, grit, insight, and commitment – in themselves and in others. They believe that everyone should get their work done to the highest possible standards, the flip side of that coin though is that they might have a hard time motivating themselves to work for the benefit of others and then can become lazy. Architect/Taurus like to feel in touch with their body and frequently need to get in touch with their physical self. Whether this means going for a long run, taking a massage or spending a long day in bed with their lover.
